On September 29^th, 2011 Progressive was recognized by the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce, the Aberdeen Development Corporation, and Absolutely! Aberdeen. Progressive was presented with the Abby Professional Services Award as the company which, "best demonstrated exceptional performance in providing professional service for local, regional state and/or national business relations". The award took into consideration Progressive's relationship and quality performance with regards to customers, clients, and employees.

Progressive's Senior Vice President, Carl Perry, was on hand to receive the award. Mr. Perry stated in his acceptance speech,

"This is truly an honor. Our Aberdeen Founders Lou Valerio, Rob Prince, and Wesley Hull have all been to and love Aberdeen, not just for the community, but for the people who work here."

Mr. Perry also added, "We are proud and appreciate this opportunity. It was a great decision to come to Aberdeen and be part of the community."

Several members of Progressive's Aberdeen management staff were also present at the awards ceremony.

Progressive was selected as the winner out of 12 total nominees. Progressive provides a positive impact to the community of Aberdeen and has quickly become one of the top ten employers in the community. In 2010 Progressive leased additional office space in the Aberdeen area allowing for the hiring and development of an additional 50+ work force.
